I LOVE LEGGINGS…as in I have a slight obsession. Okay…a huge obsession, but whatevs. Generally, if I am not wearing dresses, I can be found in leggings. They come in cute patterns. They are great for any occasion. They are forgiving during the holidays. You get the idea…in fact, you may be nodding in agreement.
My love for leggings is what brought me to Du North Designs. Du North Designs is a small, family oriented, Canadian based company founded by Krystina Dubrule. You can purchase Du North Designs clothing and accessories from distributors located across US and Canada. I have been a distributor for little over a year. It was my intention to have a small little boutique and show off my favorite looks on my blog. Unfortunately, the disaster known as 2017 knocked me flat on my bottom, and I have been dealing with health issues. Now that I am getting better, I wanted to introduce you to this wonderful clothing company that I love so much.
Du North is known for their leggings and the quality of them (as well as good customer service). Their leggings are super soft, and the sizing is pretty accurate. Many of their patterns go from a size 2 up to a size 26. If you have kids, you can also match your leggings to theirs on their website or through a distributor. In addition to the leggings, you can also find leg warmers, blanket scarves, tunic tees, and other accessories for winter. In the warmer weather, there are also rompers, tanks, and dresses for purchase. The patterns change often. Some patterns, like the Aztec leggings, come back in stock often.
I have been a distributor for over a year. I have a VIP group on Facebook where you can see my stock and participate in occasional contests. I also have a website where you can order or have me order for you. Because the stock changes frequently, it is nice to have options to get what you want!
As a plus size girl, I think their leggings have a good amount of stretch. I wear the Curvy size, which fits about an 8-20. I work out in them. I wear them shopping. I do household chores in them. They hold up well. Their tops fit smaller plus size girls, and they often go quickly. I am hoping that eventually they will carry more in the bigger sizes. Until then, I tend to pair my leggings with tanks from Rainbow because they carry Tunic tanks that are cheap and cover my bum. I get my tunic tees from Du North, but I also get other types like the skater dress style from places like Rue 21. I did notice that Torrid is carrying some longer hi-lo styles which gives some more choices too.
As I mentioned earlier, I have been a distributor for little over a year. I discovered them completely by accident, but I loved that the start up was small. You can also set your prices and run it like your own boutique. You could also keep the prices to the website prices and encourage people to shop online. You make less commission from website sales, but you don’t have the inventory. I will say it is harder without the inventory, mostly because so many people are used to MLM legging companies that run completely off of Facebook groups. I am slowly getting a good mix of both, but it is taking time. If you are interested in becoming a distributor, please let me know. I will be glad to answer questions and help you get started.
