When it comes to fashion, I love to find companies that not only provide a quality item but also think ethically and help others. That is why I was super excited to partner with Darn Good Yarn recently. Darn Good Yarn provides beautiful handmade skirts, that includes plus size! Plus,  the  Darn Good Yarn Sari skirt helps create safe jobs and offers fair wages to artisans in India and Nepal.

Today, I am going to share about their handmade skirts with you!

Find out more about Darn Good Yarn, their skirts that fit every size, and how each skirt is handmade by co-ops in India out of recycled sari's which helps artisans are able to sustain year-round employment.

About Darn Good Yarn Sari Skirts

The Darn Good Yarn skirts are absolutely beautiful! The skirts are very well put together. Also, the Darn Good Yarn sari skirt is reversible, which is great for those of you trying to minimize your wardrobe!

You can choose from an ankle length skirt, like what I am wearing, or a mini length skirt. The skirts adjust to fit, as they are wrap skirts. The sizing goes from 0-32, with a women’s (0-12), plus (8-20), and goddess (14-32) sizing. (They also have kid sizes too!) For reference, I am wearing the Goddess size. However, I could size down to the plus, as there is a lot of room. Since I am pregnant, I am thrilled to have the extra room so that I can wear this for my whole pregnancy!

What I Love About My Darn Good Yarn Sari Skirt

First of all, I love that the skirts help create jobs with fair wages to people in other parts of the world. Also, I love the colors in the skirt, and how well it fits.

It is very easy to adjust the skirt. You can wear it with a variety of tops, but I prefer wearing mine with a tank top.

Also, I love that the skirt is reversible! It is like getting 2 for the price of 1! Since we live in a smallish home, I have to be a little more mindful of my fashion choices because we don’t have the closet space, especially now that we will be having another baby!

These are really nice, and you can feel good about buying some and giving them as gifts, letting people know about how this business helps create safe jobs and offers fair wages to artisans in India and Nepal! They look great on you. I normally don’t like a long skirt, but I love these! Nice find!
