Folio Apparel, providing modern style to Northeast Ohio
Recently, my friend Betsy, at Natty Gal, posted a blog post featuring clothing she found at Folio Apparel in Northfield Center, Ohio. I found the looks to be very classic and on trend, so I was super excited to be invited to a bloggers night out at Folio Apparel a few weeks later.
About Folio Apparel
Folio focuses on Women’s fashion from sizes 2-16. While I know that this doesn’t fit the plus size spectrum I usually represent, I found quite a few pieces that I could wear. Plus, the business is woman-owned.
Folio presents modern fashion with a variety of price points. They feature pieces that are on trend but also pieces that will stay in your wardrobe year after year. Whether it is travel wear, professional wear, or casual wear, Folio Apparel has something for everything!
What I Loved
I found several pieces that fit. Also, the staff was very knowledgable and figured out my style right away. They found me pieces that I loved but normally wouldn’t have picked for myself. I ended up getting two dresses, a cute transitional top, and a pair of sandals I love!
Finding a store where the staff knows how to assess people’s fashion style is super important to me. I rarely find that when I shop. Because of that, it makes me want to stop back at Folio and see what they have for summer.
What I picked
One of the ladies pulled the pink dress and the red dress for me. The red dress looks great for a night on the town, plus the faux wrap look works for anyone having a tummy conscious day. While I promote body love, I also know that we all have days where we don’t feel our best. This style of dress helps with that. I felt fabulous in this dress!
Because I love pin up, the ladies at Folio pulled this pink dress for me. Doesn’t it just give you a Jackie O vibe? I can’t wait to wear this for a spring or summer event. It looks great on its own, but it also looks super cute with a cardigan. I found this cardigan at Love Thy Curves!
In addition to the dresses, I fell in love with this cute sunflower top. It is light for a summer night and could be paired with jeans or with a cute pair of shorts. I plan to wear it with the cute Yellowbox sandals I also found there. Seeing how I love Yellowbox, finding their shoes at Folio made my night!
Some Final Notes
While they don’t have a shoppable website as of yet, if you live in the Cleveland area or find yourself visiting Northeast Ohio, make sure you add Folio Apparel to your list of stops. The women know style, and I know you will find something fabulous to wear!
