Halloween Pin Up Photo Fun
Halloween makes for some fun Halloween Pin Up shoots! A few years ago, I did a Halloween Pin Up photo shoot with Victor Devilbliss, and the images were all so incredible. There is nothing quite like a pin up photo shoot to make me feel like a queen, even if the makeup made me look a little bit scary!
The concept for this Halloween Pin Up Shoot
The concept of this photo shoot was Living Dead Girl. To accomplish this, my make up artist made me look like I was infected with something. It turned out gorgeous…but in a creepy way!
One thing I love about working with Victor Devilbliss is that he lets you find your groove. He takes a ton of images, and sometimes the things you love most are not the things that were intended. For this shoot, I wanted to look creepy. However, I wanted to do some throwback to old scary films too. I got everything from scared to Morticia Addams to scary sexy!
The Costuming and a little Corset advice
I did two different looks for this one. The first one involved a corset dress. The second one involved an actual corset. This shoot was actually my first with a corset, and I used of from Adore Me. When buying a corset, make sure you take your measurements correctly. Also, make sure that you look at the size charts before ordering.
Honestly, I am grateful to not wear a corset every day. While it totally added to my hotness factor, it did get uncomfortable after a while.
We used some simple props like a fur throw, a chair, and a parasol. As a pin up, I love parasols and have a growing collection of them. They are a lot of fun.
If you are a pin up, I totally recommend doing a Halloween shoot if you can this year or putting it on your list for next year. Even if you don’t do anything with the photos, it’s still fun to do.
If you haven’t done pin up, this could be a fun one for your first shoot. You can do some fun makeup with it and wear some different costumes too.
Pin up is something I really love to do. It makes me feel good about myself, and I always look forward to seeing the photos from the shoots. Just make sure you find a good photographer, relax, and have fun with it!
